Briggs Chaney Family

Tonie
Tonie has been a member of the Briggs Chaney Animal Hospital Family since Summer 2002, and worked for the previous owners of the hospital as well. His outstanding work ethic and commitment to our practice makes him an invaluable member of our team. He works primarily as a technician, but he does hold a supervisory role with the other staff members, as well as some administrative duties. When not working, he enjoys the company of friends, spending time with his little brothers, and listening to music.

Vanessa
Vanessa joined the Briggs Chaney Family in December 2005. Her love of animals has caused this to be a career path for her, for which we are very happy. She is more integrated with the administrative, behind the scenes aspect of our practice, and she plays a supervisory role with the other staff members. When not working, she enjoys arts and crafts, spending time with her 3 cats and two dogs, and is very involved with her Kingdom Hall.

Kennedy
Kennedy joined the Briggs Chaney Family as a vet assistant in Summer 2006, ad has been an asset to us ever since. When he is not focusing on his studies at the University of Maryland, he enjoys working-out at the gym, playing basketball with his friends and tinkering with his car.

Janil
Janil joined the Briggs Chaney Family as a vet assistant/technician in Spring 2008. Her warm, friendly personality has made her an asset to our practice, and we hope to enjoy a long association. Her long-term goal is to become a veterinarian. While she is not working, her bobbies are singing/writing music, spending time with her pets Paris and Charlotte, and is very involved with her Kingdom Hall.

Whitney
Whitney hails from Tennessee, and has been with the Briggs Chaney Family since Summer 2007. She is an elementary teacher by training, but her love of animals lets us share her part-time as an evening receptionist. She enjoys spending time with her kitten Vera.

Thyda
Thyda is the newest member of our Family, joining us Summer 2008. She is with us part-time as a vet assistant/technician, as she persues studies toward her ultimate goal of becoming a veterinarian. She has a cat, Emmit, whom she dotes on.

Will
Will joined the Briggs Chaney Family as an intern from Blake High School in Silver Spring. His love of animals has led him to pursue studies this Fall toward becoming a veterinarian. When he is not working part-time with us as a technician, he enjoys spending time with his dog Cooper, and working on his favorite brand of car-BMW.

Suzy
Suzy joined the Briggs Chaney Family in Summer 2007 as a receptionist. Her interest in animals and veterinary medicine has expanded her duties to include vet assistant. When not working or pursuing her studies at the University of Maryland, she enjoys spending time with her 2 cats Lily and Mimi.
